Choosing a glutathione supplement

If you've been reading about glutathione and aren't sure which type to buy, this is how we'd explain the two we stock.

Gluta-Fair Plus

This is our own formula, made in the UK to GMP standards. You take two vegan capsules a day, which gives you 500 mg of reduced L-glutathione with vitamin C and biotin. A pot of 60 lasts a month. We keep it in stock in Nottingham, so it's usually with you in 3 to 7 days. See Gluta-Fair Plus

Lipo Glutathione by Renue by Science

Renue by Science make this one in the US. The glutathione is held in liposomes, which are tiny spheres made from phospholipids, and each bottle has 90 vegetarian capsules. We don't keep it on the shelf. We order it in when you buy, so please allow up to 3 weeks. See Lipo Glutathione

Questions we're often asked

Which is better, Gluta-Fair Plus or the liposomal one?

They're different products rather than better or worse. Gluta-Fair Plus is vegan, made in the UK and comes with vitamin C and biotin. Lipo Glutathione is the liposomal form and costs more. If you're still unsure, our glutathione guide explains the difference, or just ask us.

How many capsules do I take?

For Gluta-Fair Plus it's two a day, which gives you 500 mg of glutathione. For Lipo Glutathione, follow the directions on the bottle. Please don't take more than the label says.

Is Gluta-Fair Plus suitable for vegans?

Yes, it uses vegan capsules. Lipo Glutathione uses vegetarian capsules. You'll find the full ingredients on each product page.

I take other medication. Can I take glutathione?

Please check with your GP or pharmacist first. The same goes if you're pregnant or breastfeeding.

How long will delivery take?

Gluta-Fair Plus usually arrives in 3 to 7 days. Lipo Glutathione can take up to 3 weeks, because we order it in for you. Delivery is free on orders over £100.
