Magnesium - known as the element of life - is found in every tissue of our body and is responsible for a number of processes within it. It is most noted for its properties that support the nervous system - among other things, it contributes to reducing feelings of fatigue and tiredness. It has been proven that taking magnesium with vitamin B6 enhances this effect - influencing greater stress reduction [1]. Magnesium also supports regeneration, which is crucial for restful sleep - it has been noted that any disruption of sleep caused by anxiety can negatively affect hormonal balance, among other things [2]. Magnesium is also credited with supporting proper muscle function and electrolyte balance, which can have a positive impact on the quality of post-workout recovery.

Our Magnesium Balance & Relax food supplement contains a large portion of magnesium in the highly absorbable organic form of citrate, vitamin B6 (pyridoxine hydrochloride), L-aspartic acid and the patented, well-absorbed zinc in chelate form - OptiZinc®. This unique mineral chelate, which combines zinc with the amino acid L-methionine, has excellent absorption, retention, antioxidant and cell-protective properties, with which it has advantages over other forms [9]. The recommended daily serving (3 capsules) contains 400 mg magnesium (107% RWS), 15 mg zinc (150% RWS), 10.5 mg vitamin B6 (750% RWS) and 300 mg L-aspartic acid. We recommend taking the supplement one hour before bedtime.
